Terms of service
Last updated October 7, 2026
These terms apply to merchants who install Mint Raw Material Inventory ("the app"), made by Mint Labs ("we", "us"). By installing or using the app you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.
The service
The app keeps the raw materials you enter, applies your store's orders to them, and writes the stock (available quantity) of the variants you give a material recipe at the location you choose. It changes nothing else in your store. We may improve or change features; we will not remove a paid feature you rely on without notice.
Your data, stock figures and alerts
Variant stock is computed from the material figures and recipes you enter and the orders Shopify reports. Keep your counts and recipes accurate; if Shopify or the app is briefly unavailable, quantities catch up once it is back (the app re-checks every hour). Low-material emails can arrive late or not at all if email is unavailable; the app always shows low materials. You choose who receives alerts.
Billing
Plans are chosen on Shopify's plan page and billed by Shopify every 30 days in USD after the free trial. You can change or cancel at any time on that page or by uninstalling the app. Charges are handled entirely by Shopify under Shopify's terms.
Availability and liability
We work to keep the app available, accurate and secure, but it is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid for the app in the 3 months before a claim.
Data processing addendum
The app does not read your customers' names, email addresses, phone numbers or addresses; it reads order line items, quantities and statuses only. The personal data it processes on your behalf are the staff email addresses you enter for alerts, your store's contact email and notes your staff type into the ledger; for those you are the controller and we are the processor. We will:
- process personal data only to provide the app's features, following your instructions given through the app's settings;
- process only the minimum data needed: order data is requested without customer fields, and order notifications are trimmed to IDs;
- never sell personal data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models;
- keep it confidential and limit access to authorised personnel;
- encrypt it in transit (HTTPS) and at rest (Cloudflare D1 encryption at rest);
- use Cloudflare (hosting, database, queue and email sending) and Shopify as our only sub-processors;
- delete alert history after 90 days, order records after 400 days, and all store data after uninstall (shop redaction);
- help you respond to data subject requests and notify you without undue delay of any personal data breach.
Changes
We will post changes to these terms here and update the date above. Significant changes will be announced in the app.
